[civsa] Compensating students on an ad hoc basis

Ania,
We consider the students as volunteers for this type of thing and give them
a Thank You gift card. Because the gift card is not payment for services
but a thank you from us, it works. We make sure to deduct the purchase from
a line item for this type of expense and not from payroll. I do provide our
business office with a list of students who receive this thank you card for
tracking purposes.
