[civsa] Bus Tours

Hi Hilary,

Georgia State has been using buses as part of the tour to take groups to and from different parts of campus. Much like UAB, we are in the downtown area and our Welcome Center, Housing and main part of campus are all separate from each other by a few blocks. We have also used the buses to take certain groups around landmarks of Atlanta such as Centennial Park and the Capitol Building.

We will be going away from this though due to cost. Like Ania from Columbia College Chicago, we rent our buses for each tour and the cost has been too much so we are going to be reserving buses only for our larger events throughout the year.

Hey everyone,

I'm just curious, does your school give bus tours? We just purchased a 30 passenger bus, and I'm trying to wrap my head around incorporating bus tours of some kind into our daily tour schedule.

Any help as far as scheduling and logistics would be much appreciated, thanks!
