Here are some of the standard questions we use.  We do individual interviews with a hiring committee (Ambassador Coordinator (me), my 2 Lead Ambassadors (current students) and one admission counselor).

What strengths do you have that will make you a GREAT Ambassador:

Area to improve:

We often have students that are really quiet.  As a host, how would you handle this situation:

What if the student you were hosting insisted on using alcohol or drugs:

What would you change about Hanover:

What is one thing you would want to make sure families take away from a tour with you:

How would your friends/professors describe you:

What is a personality type/pet peeve that you struggle dealing with:

Tells us about a time when you had conflict with a classmate/co-worker and how did you handle it:
