[civsa] Help! My Conference Notes are missing!

Hi Donna,

Thanks for writing about the notes! I’m sorry to hear your app isn’t cooperating! I’m responding on the listserv to help anyone else who may be having a similar issue.

I just went in to our Guidebook app and navigated to the Notes section on the left panel and was able to find my notes from conference, so let me offer a couple potential solutions if you’re having trouble!

A couple things to keep in mind about retrieving notes:

-       They are stored in the Guidebook app on the device you used for the notes. That means that if you had Guidebook on two devices (iPad and iPhone, for example), the notes would only be available on that device.

-       Taking notes in Guidebook does require you to hit Save after typing the note. If you didn’t hit Save while recording a note, you likely won’t be able to recover it. (I learned this the hard way at one session.)

One last tip once you find your notes: You can click on the “Notes” tab on the left panel in the app and hit the Share icon on the top right to email/share all your notes. From the Conference Schedule or My Schedule, you can also email/share PDF versions of the presentations presenters submitted.
