[civsa] Voice amps for tour guides

We use the amplifiers from Audio Resource Group - they work great - BUT, when the tour guides move the headset microphone up/down, it ends up breaking. There is also feedback when you go into buildings, so you have to make sure to shut them off before entering, which sometimes leads to the TG forgetting to turn it back on. I have to tell you, the tour guides really dislike using them, but they are helpful with groups and being able to be heard over traffic noise, wind, etc.

Subject: [civsa] Voice amps for tour guides

Good Afternoon CIVSA friends!

Is anyone using voice amplifiers for tour guides for larger tours? We are considering getting some, but I've only received contact and a quote from one company, Audio Resource Group in ND. Anyone have experience using voice amps or know of any other companies I could take a look at?

Thanks in advance!
Amber
