[civsa] Elementary/Jr. High Tours

We have been providing a middle school option for the past seven years. It is comprised of a presentation of "Why college, Why Purdue, and What to do now" followed by a Q&A. It is presented by undergraduate student ambassadors through the Welcome Center. They are also provided a tour of campus, the co- rec, the basketball arena (time permitting) as well as an academic presentation by faculty or grad students and lunch in one of the dining halls. Although the teachers always ask about the residence hall tours, we have a campus policy to not allow visitors with in the halls unless they are with a sanctioned admissions group. The visit usually last between 3-4 hours and we limit the number to 50 with a chaperone for each 15 students.

Hi CIVSA Folks!

I know the holidays are right around the corner but I've hit a bit of a wall and need some advice.

Our institution is currently working on developing campus visits specifically for elementary/jr. high students that is engaging enough for them. Do any of y'all have specific tours for a younger audience?
