[civsa] Winter Break Tour Offerings

Hi Jenny,

We let our tour guides focus on school during finals so we do not offer student led tours at that time. During winter break since the students are gone we also do not have tours. However our office is still open to help walk-in's during finals and winter break. Prospective families can meet with a counselor and we provide them with a self-guided tour!

Hi, everyone!

I'm curious what your school's policy is on offering campus tours during finals week and / or the month of winter break?  Due to our rigorous curriculum at Mines, we historically turned off tour registration for the week of finals so our students could focus on their studies.  Winter break would follow that week, and since students leave campus, we never offered campus tours during that time as well.  We're potentially changing that practice this year, but I wanted some insight from others...
