Hi Scott,

Here at Georgia Gwinnett College, we currently use an online application for our Ambassador/tour guide program. I worked with our website development team, and duplicated the paper application (which is still made available to our students).

I think the main benefit to having the online application, is the instant access. Students are not required to pick-up an application at a specific location, it is readily available online to them.

Subject: [civsa] Ambassador/Tour Guide Applications

Greetings CIVSA Land!

Have a question for you regarding your Ambassador/Tour Guide Application Process.

How many of you allow these applications to be turned in online - via Google Docs, email, or even your own home grown system?

What are some of the benefits for online application turn-in?

What are some of the detractors and cons for online application turn-in?

If you made the switch from paper to online turn-in - what prompted that switch?

Thanks everyone!

Scott
