Here at Texas Wesleyan we use a mobile app called Slack for our tour guides. It is extremely effective. You can create different "channels" for different subgroups (group tours, special tours, general, etc.). You can also direct message one specific person as well. It is a great well-rounded mobile app and our tour guides never miss anything we post.

Hey All,

We are looking at getting some new software. One of the companies at the conference, VisitDays, has approached us about their product. Does anyone have any experience with them?

As well, for my students internally, we use a Facebook group to post announcements as well as schedule changes. The problem is that many of my students are no longer on Facebook or hardly check it. Is there anything you all use that is efficient with schedules/shift changes/announcements that is also very mobile friendly? My students are glued to their phones.
