[Campus Tours]

Hi Amberly,

Here at Georgia Gwinnett College, our student ambassadors serve on a volunteer basis. We currently have 15 students who volunteer 1.5hrs each week to conduct campus tours and they are assigned the same tour slot each week. One of the benefits we offer to our students, is that they are given early registration, which allows them to register the same time as our Athletes and International Students.

I am also interested in any ideas or words of wisdom with regards to enticing these students, as that is something I struggle with.

Hello Everyone!

Here at Washington State University we are looking into the possibility of expanding the services the Visitor Center offers to include campus tours for a variety of different end users. I am looking for information from those of you out there who have campus ambassadors/tour guides/visit staff who are volunteers and/or members of a student club. I am wondering what the structure of your program looks like, how you entice students to become involved, words of wisdom, etc. Thank you very much in advance for your input and assistance!
