[civsa] Early Deposits

Good afternoon!

I just read an article about several colleges that have given away iPads or iPad minis to incoming freshmen.  It appeared that some colleges were giving them to all freshmen and some were giving them to freshmen who committed early.  We do not have a deadline so we are looking into doing something to encourage early deposits.

If you would be willing, could you share with me how you handle this?  Is this something your admissions office does?  Does it come from academics?  Any insight would be wonderful!
