Hi everyone,

I have my Student Ambassadors do this. It happens once a year in February, since March is when I hire new ambassadors for the upcoming year. I meet with each of them 1-on-1 and they do most of the talking. Prior to their re-application meeting, they are asked to come prepared to discuss the following:

- Interest in returning to the team
- What they enjoy about the position
- Their greatest strengths (in general, and specifically on the tour)
- Areas for improvement (in general, and specifically on the tour)
- Goals (in the team there are a number of leadership positions)
- Feedback (for me, visitors centre processes, etc. and I also give feedback to them)

Last year was the first time I implemented something like this and although it is time consuming to meet with each student (even for 15 min each), it is definitely worthwhile. I've continued this year with a few tweaks from the previous year, always looking to improve processes; so if anybody else has anything to share I am happy to hear what works at your institution!
