Hi Joel!

At SU we have specific shadow day events (primarily for seniors)....we try
to match them 1-to-1, but sometimes we will place 2 prospective students
with 1 current student. These current students are not always ambassadors.

We also offer our prospective students to "personalize" their daily visits
through meeting a professor, sitting in on a class, or meeting a coach.
We allow Freshman-Seniors to sit in on a class. Our Welcome Center
Coordinator organizes the daily visits with students who sit in on a class,
etc - we ask that families give us 10 business days to plan their
specialized visit.

Sometimes we will attempt to ask our Ambassadors what classes they have
that may match the student visiting...so we will do "shadowing" that way as
well. We match students based on their major alone, and sometimes we'll
try to put athletes together.

I think the biggest difficulty we have come across on our Shadow Days is
students who oversleep or don't show, etc.....so it would be really good to
have extra students just in case that happens.

Hope this helps :) let me know if there you have any questions about the
above.

- Rachel
