[civsa] Graduate Assistants

Hi Aimee,

We have two Graduate Assistants in our Office of Admission that typically
function as an Admission Counselor for 20 hours a week.  They present
information sessions, answer Counselor on Duty phone calls, respond to
emails from a number of accounts (admission inbox, international, transfer)
as well as meet with families of prospective students who come in for a
visit.  They also get the opportunity to gain exposure to any facet of
higher ed that we deal with, i.e. international, transfer, multi-cultural
recruitment, visits, events, etc...

This has not only been invaluable experience for them, but have proved to
be invaluable to us as well, and are often considered staff members.
