[civsa] Ambassador GPAs

Hi Scott:
At Stevenson University I require my Ambassadors to have a 2.5 GPA each semester that they work for me. I look at the semester GPA rather than the cumulative because the semester GPA shows how a student is currently performing/managing their time. If a student falls below the 2.5, they are on probation as an Ambassador for that semester and are expected to be back at a 2.5 before the start of the next semester. If they fail to maintain a 2.5 for the next semester as well, they are terminated from the program. I don’t necessarily change their workload during the probation time but my Ambassador typically have less than 5 hours/week unless we have Open House or they work a Saturday shift.

Good morning CIVSA!
It was great to see so many of you last week!
Question about ambassador GPAs... What are your minimum requirements if any? At the UA we require a 2.75 for both entry and continuance. I raised this from a 2.5 about five years ago.
Also what do you do for an ambassador who falls below? I have a probationary phase but it doesn't necessarily lighten their workload. This phase is two fold: they have one semester to raise to a 2.75 term or cum, whichever comes first, and then must maintain such with an obvious upward trend.
Anyone else care to share?
