*Job Summary/Basic Functions*
This position exists to recruit prospective students and their families by
planning, coordinating and overseeing most on- and off- campus recruitment
events, including up to 20 special visit days per year hosting over 2000
prospective students annually. It also serves as relief for admissions
counselors as someone available to meet with students and
familieson-campus when the other counselors are unavailable.

*Minimum Qualifications*
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.

*Preferred Qualifications*
Ideally, the person entering this position will have admissions and/or
event planning experience, and can demonstrate excellent customer service
and problem solving abilities, a keen eye for detail and organization,
communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications,
strong work ethic, and a high degree of energy. Knowledge of Adobe InDesign
is a plus. A degree in business administration, marketing, communication,
hospitality or related field is preferable.

*Salary and Benefits*
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience, though it will
range from the low to mid $30,000’s. Benefits available include health,
life, and dental insurance, as well as a selection of several defined
contribution retirement programs. Dependents and spouses of UNC Employees
who are employed as 0.5FTE or above are entitled to and eligible for
Dependent Tuition Grants. These tuition grants will cover in-state tuition
charges. Further requirements may exist. Other benefits may be available
based on position.
