[civsa] Importance of on campus facilities to the campus visit

Good Afternoon Everyone,

I am putting together a proposal to move our Campus Visits Program at
Portland State into the current Welcome Center on campus.  One reason is
because the Welcome Center is beautiful and new and where we currently are,
it's not!

I'm wondering if anyone knows of any recent literature on the importance of
facilities as it relates to a campus visit. Whether it's where the welcome
center is or generally any facility on campus and how important it is in
the visit.

Also, does anyone host their information sessions in the same open location
as where you would have guests check-in? If so, could you send me a photo
of your welcome center?
