[civsa] Paid Tour Guides or Ambassadors

Our tour guides receive minimum wage. Our tour guides (SWOOP Squad) have to take training, shadow tours, etc...and work a year as a volunteer before getting paid. If they are chosen as an Orientation Team Leader they can get paid sooner.

Hi Kim,
Our tour guides are paid $8.25 per hour and receive a $.25 increase in the fall if they did not have any major performance issues. The team leaders are paid $10 per hour.

Hi Kim,
We pay our ambassadors and they start out at $8.25. At the end of the school year we do evaluations with each ambassador and based upon their performance they are given their pay increase at that time. If there is something they need to work on for the next school year, we hold back their raise or a portion of it, until we see improvement in that area.

We do the same thing at the Illinois Institute of Technology. $8.25 to
start and yearly increase of .25. Our senior ambassadors get paid $10.00.
