What information to you have for guests on the iPad- name and number in party or lots of student info to check (address, high school, email, declared major,etc) that is in your system?

Morning, CIVSA!

We use an iPad for check-in for our daily campus tours using our web-based back-end system to check people in.

For our big recruitment events, we use laptops where the roster is loaded into Google Docs.

Wireless connectivity can always be an issue, especially with tours considering we're in the Bookstore's basement.

I am emailing to see how your institutions may use IPads for your recruitment events. We are investigating different options for registration, presentations, sending information, etc.

If you use IPads for your on campus events or daily visits, can you share how you do? Also, when you are not hosting an event or visit, are the IPads used in other ways?
