[civsa] IPad Usage at Recruitment Events

Good morning CIVSA,

In response to Ebony's question, we just started using iPads for check-in,
of course we are using a new web based CRM, which covers all of our visit
and event registration.  The good is that it is high-tech, we can utilize
the device for quick internet access or maps when people are looking for
addition information, and it surly beats a piece of paper and a
highlighter.

The bad is that it is a wireless device which can be slow depending on the
campus location where they are being utilized, and those of you from big
schools know that hosting a big event with a slow check-in system can be a
nightmare.  So far it's been an upgrade to our system but not without
certain challenges.
