[civsa] Welcome Back Gifts for Student Executive Boards/Coordinators

Hello CIVSA!  Gifts get a little dicey with using state money (rules and stuff).  I never gave thought of any welcome back gifts or surprises for them - will definitely think of that!

We try to keep our tour guide/training/retreat/fall something as jovial as possible, we don't have any funny videos, but an upbeat mood with a promise of no external speakers really helps set the pace.  We share updates, dabble in a tiny tiny bit of team building, etc.  They usually come pumped already, so it's a matter of feeding off their energy :)

For a thank you at the end of the year, we throw a big banquet for them, and we give the graduating seniors stoles.

Hello All!

Do any of you who manage Tour Guides or Ambassadors do any type of welcome back gifts or surprise for your guides themselves, the coordinators or student executive board members?

Also, when you're doing your Tour Guide training in the fall, do you use any tools or videos to get everyone pumped up again to start back into the semester?

I'd love to hear your ideas.
