Dear CiVSA Colleagues,

Although this is not the typical position announcement for the CiVSA
listserv, I realize that many of our members have unique and broad
experiences and backgrounds that might well match the requirements for
this unique position that we have just posted within Campus Information
Services at Rutgers University.

This is a new Director position that encompasses the leadership,
coordination and management of Rutgers' 250th anniversary in 2016. It
is a four year position that will include: major event/program planning
and implementation; volunteer and VIP support; committee coordination;
marketing and promotion; and of course fundraising among other critical
tasks.

Anniversary celebrations hold many opportunities and possibilities for
their schools and institutions but our research has also shown that it
is most important to find the right individual with the appropriate
background and experiences to develop and lead these once in a lifetime
events.

I hope you will find this posting of interest and please feel free to
share with others who you think might have the qualities we seek in the
person holding this critical position.

Thanks!

Matt Weismantel
