Hi Catie!

We use the iPad in our office for similar reasons Jordana mentioned below. We also have the ability for students to fill out their information on the iPad instead of filling out the interest cards during high school visits as well. We are also moving to Slate for our CRM/database and they have the ability to work with the iPad - so in the next year or two, we will be able to do application review on them.

We use tablets in our office for travel and for use in interviews/information sessions to show pictures, the website, videos, etc.  We use the Asus Eee Slide Pad ( http://www.asus.com/Tablet/Slider_Pad/Eee_Pad_Slider_SL101/<http://www.asus.com/Tablet/Slider_Pad/Eee_Pad_Slider_SL101/> ).

We just use the wireless on campus or wherever we take it to.  It has been really helpful in terms of keep a few documents on it for travel rather than taking laptops.  It's also great to have for parents who want to fill out our financial aid calculator while they wait for information sessions and the keyboard is for all the non-touch pad  users.

Hello All,

We are looking at getting  Tablets to use in the office.  We are looking at either the I Pad or Android version.  Does anyone use these in their office?  What type do you use, do you have built in 3G or do you use a hot spot, and do they seem beneficial?
