Hi Kris,

We separate students and parents for tours during our Open House's. We have had a lot of success with it because it gives the parents time to talk ask similar questions and feed off of each other. During the students portion we incorporate ice breakers to get them to interact with our  student Ambassadors and the other students that are visiting. We have had great feedback from both the parents and the students.

We currently do not break up families for our daily tours because we are a small school and do not have the extra volume with our daily visits.

Good morning Everyone -

Greetings from the sunshine state. :)

We are developing a comments card that goes in each guests packet  and wondered if anyone else follows this practice. If so, would you mind sharing the items you include on your card.

Also, do any of your tours include a time where it is only the potential student guest and the tour guide? We know that students will ask different questions student-to-student than when parents are around and we were looking for opportunities to incorporate this practice in our weekday campus tours. Do you find this practice successful? And how do you separate the parents and the students?
